Wild Introductions!

Hey all! My name is Will Connolly, and I am a wargamer and miniature painter. This has been my hobby for the past three years, and in that time I've gotten into three games: Warmachine, Infinity, and Dystopian Wars. At the beginning of the year, I resolved to work on my painting skills, and my first commission work followed soon afterwards. So, this blog is to both document my work for future commission work, and to just show off what I've been doing. It just won't be all about painting, I'll probably post about the stuff I've been doing in my respective games I play. Anyway, introduction aside, here is the first mini I'd like to highlight! The Gen Con exclusive, Druid Gone Wilder!

This chick was a lot of fun to do. I didn't go to Gen Con if you were wondering. I got her as payment for some commission work I'm doing (which'll be highlighted in my next post). She's almost done, just some rocks on her base, the metals, and the froth on the mug. I have no idea what to do about, and I don't like what I did in the pictures. It was a Moldy Ochre + Menoth White with a thin Yellow Ink wash. The yellow ink turned it too yellow, apparently. There's also a bit of green wash that got on her knee that I'm going to have to cover up as well.

But there you have it folks, a small taste of what I do. Rest assured, there's far more to come!
